Easter Celebrations Part II

Easter Celebrations

Earlier this week I shared my Easter décor for my home.  If you missed it check it out here: http://wp.me/p1s2CI-ot Today I’m sharing my Easter dinner tablescape with you.

I have used these pink and blue plastic (reusable) plates for so many events and dinner parties over the years and brought them out again for Easter.  They were one of my best buys from Party City! The pastel colored robin’s egg in mason jars with burlap was a discount find at Hobby Lobby.  However, you can easily make your own if you bought the supplies separately.  This year instead of sparkle and jeweled eggs I made eggs with stickers and pom poms on them with my daughters.  I had one place at each place setting for guests to take home.

Again, I used tulips and hyacinth, with limes, as well as ranunculus with lemons at the bottom as centerpieces.  These types of flowers just look so bright and are perfect for your Easter or spring dinner!

I also decorated the dessert table and drink table with floral arrangements and Easter décor.  I have to say the best part of the meal, to me that is, is dessert! The carrot cake designed by Edible Art of Charlotte was heavenly!

Happy Easter!

Spring invokes vibrate pastel colors. There is no better time than Easter to celebrate spring and use these fun colors in your table linens, flower arrangements, Easter eggs, and other decor. Be creative and add a pop of color in your flower arrangements with candy, lemons, oranges, or colored glass balls.

For my tablescape I started with a scrap piece of coral fabric and blue napkins from another lien set.  I framed my table with three flower arrangements varying in height and color.  Then I started adding wooden painted eggs that I had decorate with paper pom poms, faux jewels, and stickers. Again, varying the height, size and color of the eggs.

Don’t limit your decor to the dinner table.  You can add a festive design to your living room with a simple spring wreath and a few  colored Easter eggs.  As seen below, you can decorate your mantel with fun Easter decor.  Draw the eye in with a centerpiece and then add several decorative pieces at different heights.
